Why we built it
We were moving to France. We did not need another list of words.
After paying for annual language apps and seeing expensive dedicated gadgets advertised online, we kept coming back to the same question: why carry another device when the phone already in your pocket has everything the experience needs?
We wanted help walking into the bakery, speaking with a landlord, understanding the sign, greeting people correctly, and feeling less like outsiders. So we built the product we wanted to carry.
