Acceptable Use Policy
Useful tools need clear boundaries.
This policy protects people, the Services, and the systems we depend on. It applies to all Circle The People LLC Services and forms part of our Terms.
1. Use the Services lawfully
Do not use the Services to violate law, court orders, contractual duties, privacy rights, intellectual-property rights, or the rights of another person.
2. Do not harm, exploit, or deceive people
- No threats, harassment, stalking, bullying, intimidation, extortion, or targeted abuse.
- No sexual exploitation, non-consensual intimate content, grooming, or content that endangers children.
- No impersonation, phishing, fraud, scams, identity theft, deceptive endorsements, or deliberate misinformation intended to cause harm.
- No discriminatory abuse or content primarily intended to incite violence or hatred against protected people.
- No instructions or assistance meaningfully facilitating suicide, self-harm, violent wrongdoing, or serious physical injury.
3. Respect privacy and consent
Do not submit recordings, images, private communications, personal data, precise locations, credentials, confidential records, or sensitive information unless you have a lawful basis and all permissions required. Do not use the Services for covert surveillance, doxxing, unauthorized identification, or invasive profiling.
4. Do not compromise systems
- No malware, ransomware, destructive code, credential theft, unauthorized security testing, or attempts to gain access to accounts or systems.
- No interference with availability, rate limits, authentication, billing, device limits, safety controls, or technical protections.
- No scraping, automated extraction, bulk account creation, denial-of-service activity, or use that imposes unreasonable load without written permission.
- No reverse engineering or model extraction except where a right cannot legally be restricted.
5. Do not misuse AI features
Do not use AI features to produce or distribute unlawful content, facilitate serious wrongdoing, make consequential decisions about another person without lawful human review, fabricate evidence, impersonate a real person deceptively, or present output as professional advice when it is not. Translation, cultural guidance, and communication coaching must not be used to evade authorities, manipulate vulnerable people, or conceal harmful intent.
6. High-impact and regulated uses
Without Circle’s prior written approval, do not use the Services as the sole basis for decisions involving employment, housing, education admissions, credit, insurance, legal rights, healthcare, immigration, policing, or access to essential services. A qualified person must independently review any use in a consequential setting.
7. Intellectual property and spam
Do not infringe copyrights, trademarks, publicity rights, or trade secrets. Do not generate or send unsolicited bulk communications, manipulate engagement, evade opt-outs, or harvest contact information.
8. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and remove content, limit features, suspend accounts, terminate access, preserve evidence, or report conduct when reasonably necessary. We consider context, severity, history, intent, and risk. Where appropriate, we may provide notice and an opportunity to appeal through our private contact form.
9. Reporting concerns
Report abuse, security concerns, or an enforcement appeal through our . Include enough detail for us to understand the concern, but do not send passwords or unnecessary sensitive information.
